About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to join OneStep and help us build and evolve the client side of our product used daily by clinicians and patients. You’ll work closely with our engineering and design teams on complex, data-driven user interfaces and deliver a reliable, polished user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and evolve product features using React and TypeScript in a production environment.
  • Collaborate closely with designers to turn wireframes and designs into intuitive, high-quality user interfaces.
  • Develop data-driven UIs such as forms, tables, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Integrate with backend APIs and ensure reliable, predictable application behavior.
  • Take part in code reviews and help maintain a high bar for code quality and maintainability.
  • Improve performance, responsiveness, and accessibility across browsers and devices.
  • Work as part of a collaborative, agile team building a product with real impact.


Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building production frontend applications.
  • Strong hands-on experience with React (hooks, component composition) and TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with modern frontend tooling (e.g. Vite, Webpack) and debugging build/runtime issues.
  • Familiarity with frontend testing practices (Jest / React Testing Library; E2E such as Cypress is a plus).
  • Comfortable working with git-based workflows (PRs, branching, resolving conflicts).
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Copilot) to improve productivity and code quality.
  • Team-oriented mindset: clear communication, ownership, and willingness to learn and improve.
